Work-Release Facility
The Department of Corrections (DOC) proposes to move a work-release facility for male felons to Western State Hospital. I strongly oppose having this work-release facility directly across from Steilacoom High School. I encourage everyone to go to the below link to learn more about the work-release proposal, why it is a bad idea, and how you can be involved to help stop it. I commend the volunteers who formed the organization "Keep Lakewood and Steilacoom Safe" and put the below website together. Lets all work together to keep our school campuses safe.
